MO Riding Club
Take in the unique attractions of the breathtaking country, enjoying a memorable trek on horseback!
Situated in Tee Pu village on the Byat-Ta-Pann-Set rood to Mt. Popa, a 45-minute drive from Bagan’s archaeological site dotted with over 2000 temples and pagodas dating back to about 10th – 12th AD, the MO riding club (founded by U Thant Sin Mo @ Richard Mo Kyaw) serves as an ideal base for horseback riding tours to places standing away from the mass tourism, where the riders can admire the scenic beauty of the central dry zone of Myanmar on horse. Every visitor who is interested in horseback ridings can enjoy indoor-ridings right at the Club and outdoor ridings from there. From this village there are some horseback riding trails such as riding from Tee Pu Village to Mt. Popa (20 km), from Tee-Pu Village to Nga-Tha-Yoke Village (23 km) and from Tee Pu to Mt. Tu Yin Taung (25km). With all these outdoor riding trails standing away from the mass-tourism and off-the-beaten-track, this horseback riding along the riding trails in lush tropical landscapes and the beautiful exotic scenery under the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere will provide the visitors unforgettable experiences. Riding passing through the toddy palms will make a highlight of the day for all of our riders, taking short breaks en route for refreshing our horses and enjoying the unique peaceful and tranquil environment of the dry zone of Myanmar. In addition, all riders will have opportunities to admire the ways of life of the local people living in the dry zone of the central Myanmar including how they climb the toddy palm trees to get the toddy sap, how they make jiggery and how they make drinks from the toddy sap during riding on those outdoor trails.
I would like to recommend you that the MO Riding club is the best place for those who want to test their equestrian skills and also warmly invite you to visit our riding club. You will have outstanding opportunities for trail riding and get riding-lessons from our ASIAN prize winning instructors if you wish. You can also have some basic riding lesions from the instructors if you are novice rider.
