If you want to experience the countryside on horseback with some overnight stops at hill tribes’ villages away from the mass tourism, horseback riding in the southern Shan State is the most suitable place for horseback enthusiasts. Visitors who want riding in Shan Stare can have a wide choice of raiding trails in the region of southern Shan State such as Kalaw, Pindaya, Heho and Inle Lake surround by hazy Blue Mountains. Being a mountainous region and standing on the Shan hills, the riding on the Shan mountain arranges provides the riders glorious views of the vast pine tree lands. Kalaw, once a British hill station, is a starting point for our horse riding tours to the above mentioned places. With these horse riding trails being far away from the starting point of the riding tours we create overnight-riding trips depending on their long distance between these places and taking carefully riders’ safety and convenience into consideration. During the riding tour, all the riders will have chances to take several stops for visits to villages of Pa-O, Palaung and other hill tribes to observe their ways of life different from those who live in lower plain regions and can also have opportunity to see Shan ladies picking up tea leaves in their tea plantations on the hills.
